What this site records
This site sells downloadable technical material and provides free tutorials. It does not require a Profitable Donkeys account.
Website measurement
Cloudflare hosts the site and provides aggregate traffic and performance information. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed without cookies and does not use visitors' personal data for its website performance reports.
The site also records a small set of events through its own same-site endpoint: button clicks, successful free-guide requests, purchase returns and visits from tagged campaign links. These records can contain the event name, page path, button name, product and campaign labels. They do not contain an email address, name, IP address, browser details or the contents of a form. Event records expire after 180 days.
Free downloads and email
When you request the free PySpark guide, the site records your email address, the date, the signup source and the consent wording shown on the form. It does not record your IP address in the signup file.
Resend delivers the guide and four related PySpark lessons over the following week. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the remaining lessons and does not affect a file you already downloaded or purchased.
The signup record is stored in the site's Cloudflare KV storage so the email sequence and unsubscribe status persist across deployments. Email addresses are not sold or shared for unrelated marketing.
Purchases
Payhip runs checkout and delivers paid files. Payhip and the payment provider may collect an email address, payment details, the purchased product, timestamps, tax information and other details needed to complete the order. Profitable Donkeys does not receive or store full card details.
Support
If you email support, the message and reply address are used to answer the query and keep an appropriate support record.
Requests
To ask about your information or request deletion of a signup or support record, email thomas.reid@gmail.com. Payhip purchase and delivery records may need to be requested from Payhip or retained where tax and accounting rules require it.
